"Hi there, I'm Amy! I hold a BSc in Psychology and BA in Anthropology as well as a Master's in Primate Behaviour and Conservation. Outside of this platform, I have been working as a private tutor for almost 3 years.

I have received corporate training in general tutoring and more specific training in teaching ACT, SAT, AP classes, and assisting with college essays. I have experience tutoring a wide range of ages from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. All of my test prep students outside of this platform have seen an increase in their scores! I have seen significant success from my students with ADHD and anxiety, too.

I am incredibly passionate about education and bring lots of enthusiasm, encouragement, and positivity to my classroom. I always work to build my students' confidence and adapt to their learning styles. This may mean teaching calming techniques to use before a test, working on effective annotation and notetaking, or encouraging student growth.
