"Hello, I'm Rachel! I graduated with a degree in Statistics and a minor in Math with Highest Honors, Phi Beta Kappa, and the award for the top graduate in my major from UNC Chapel Hill. I am currently a Master’s student in Statistics at UNC, where I specialize in advanced statistical theory and applied data science.

I provide expert tutoring for AP Statistics, College-level Statistics, and programming in R and Python. My background allows me to support a range of high-level needs—from high school seniors aiming for a 5 on the AP exam to graduate students navigating complex financial statistics or troubleshooting scripts in RStudio.

What sets my approach apart is my background in professional coaching. While at UNC, I served as a TA for undergraduate mathematics and spent three years as a Writing Coach. This experience taught me that mastering a difficult subject isn't just about formulas; it’s about communication and clarity. I use unique coaching techniques, such as back-and-forth questioning and brainstorming strategies, to help students think through their own problems. Rather than just providing answers, I empower students to understand the "why" behind the data.
