"Hi, I'm Grace! I graduated from Vassar College with a BA in Biology and a minor in history. I then went on to receive a Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia. I have been tutoring since college, and started out my tutoring career at a national test prep company. There, I specialized in teaching students Reading, Writing, English, biology, and helped prepare them for standardized tests. In graduate school at UVA, I worked for the school's Writing Center, where I collaborated with students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in essay/dissertation construction, presentation refinement, and other writing assignments. Additionally in graduate school, I worked as a tutor for the School of Nursing, assisting students in pathophysiology, pharmacology, and medical-surgical nursing. I was also an English as Second Language tutor as well, helping students from all over the world to improve their spoken English skills.

Now, I work as an adjunct faculty for Georgetown University, teaching nursing students the foundations of nursing skills in both the clinical and laboratory setting. While I maintain a career as a nurse, I still love teaching and helping students to achieve their academic goals, while celebrating all the successes along the way. I have always maintained a passion for English and Writing, and it would be a joy to help you with any writing assignment or exam prep you might have! I also have a speciality in helping nursing students with the difficult subjects of pathophysiology and pharmacology.
