"Hello! I'm Lydia. I have a master's degree in social work from Louisiana State University. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Summer of 2021 I passed the LMSW licensure test. I have five professional years of tutoring experience. I, however, tutored peers in high school as well and found it to be a passion of mine.

I have experience working in a grade school and a high school as a paraprofessional, assisting students with learning disabilities. I have worked with students who have dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, autism, anxiety, bipolar disorder, test anxiety, and cognitive impairment. I enjoy finding new ways to learn and helping others learn.

I worked with students who had ADHD for four years professionally and learned several ways to help them stay engaged with the curriculum and learn the materials. I ran a study skills classroom for two years and taught students how to manage their time, create to-do lists, how to prioritize, and organizational skills.
