"Hello, I’m Abraham! I’m excited to share my journey as an educator. Currently, I serve as a Program Leader Tutor and a certified substitute teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, where I have over three years of tutoring experience across various subjects and grade levels. This role has not only allowed me to enhance my students' understanding of complex concepts but has also helped me cultivate a love for learning in an engaging and supportive environment.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and am currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology through their remote program. This academic background gives me a strong foundation in mathematics (particularly Pre-Calculus and below), Computer Science, and certain areas of Physics.

In my tutoring approach, I focus on tailoring my methods to each student's unique learning style. I believe that engaging students through interactive lessons, practical applications, and varied teaching techniques makes learning enjoyable and effective. During our sessions, I emphasize both understanding the material and building confidence, as I understand that each student has the potential to succeed with the right support. I have worked with students from elementary to high school, in both one-on-one and group settings. My experiences include volunteering in community programs, which deepened my understanding of how to connect with diverse learners and adapt to their varying needs. I aim to empower my students not just academically, but also in their self-confidence and problem-solving skills.
