"Hi! My name is Rithik Ramkumar, and I’m a UNC–Chapel Hill undergraduate majoring in Chemistry (Polymer Chemistry track) on a pre-med. I have a strong academic background in math, chemistry, physics, and biology, and I currently tutor high school and college students in these subjects.

I’ve completed and excelled in rigorous coursework including General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Calculus (including Calculus III), Physics, and Biology, and I am especially strong at helping students build conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorization. I’ve tutored students in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry I, Calculus, Precalculus, Physics, and Introductory Biology, including helping students prepare for exams, quizzes, finals, and standardized tests.

Before college, I graduated in the top 10 of my high school class, earned a 31 ACT, a 5 on the AP Calculus exam, and completed 13 AP courses. Outside of academics, I was a first-chair alto saxophonist, selected for All-District Band every year, and participated in multiple honor ensembles including UNC Honor Band:experiences that shaped my discipline, communication skills, and ability to teach complex ideas clearly.
