"I have experience teaching and advising research at renowned liberal arts colleges and universities in the US, Canada, Austria, and Germany. I have taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in sub-disciplines in psychology as well as numerous research methods and statistics courses.

Prior to these teaching experiences, I was trained for and delivered one-on-one tutoring sessions at teaching and learning centers at both my undergraduate and graduate institutions, often with ESL tutees. I also have extensive experience assisting individual or small groups of students during my courses for either study or research projects. I enjoy tutoring and teaching because I value seeing the moments of insight, when things start to "click" and students become more efficient and autonomous.

My earliest teaching assistant and tutoring experiences were in statistics and research methods. Since then, I've taught stats to undergraduates and R and psychometrics to graduate students. I have been using SPSS and Excel for 17 years, R for 12, and SAS for 10.

I have longstanding passion for psychology and the sciences that drove me to both get a PhD and tutor and help others along the way.
