"I hold degrees in philosophy and religious studies. As an undergraduate, I majored in philosophy and specialized in studying Koine Greek and with a focus on The Greek New Testament. As a graduate student, I have continued study ancient Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, French, and German. I am currently finishing a doctoral dissertation focusing on the apostle Paul’s anthropology.

As a doctoral student I have tutored ancient Greek. I have tutored students who are interested in understanding attic and koine Greek. I cater my methods in accordance with the goals of the student. For example, if a student is more interested in reading comprehension, then I provide exercises in reading. If however the student is interested speaking, then I provide exercises that encourage the production of idiomatic and spontaneous speech. No matter what the student wants, they will inevitably exercise speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Because each of these areas is mutually reinforcing.

I have tutored formally graduate students for Dallas theological seminary. Additionally, I have tutored students on a volunteer basis. I have taught students as young as 12 years old up. I have taught absolute beginners as well as advanced proficient users of the language." less...
