My name is Marissa, and I am from Wisconsin in the United States. I hold multiple degrees in Spanish, and I have a master's degree in higher education administration. I have been tutoring and teaching adult ESL/Spanish students for over 3 years online and in-person at Gateway Technical College in Southeastern Wisconsin. I am passionate about helping students learn a new language and to help them grow into bilingual individuals. I teach all levels of English and Spanish from beginner to advanced. I am able to teach English and Spanish grammar, reading, writing, and help students with their listening and conversation skills.

My classes are personalized in order to help students to achieve their goals. I adhere to all learning styles by using a variety of teaching materials, such as Google Slides from my in-person Spanish and English courses, lists of helpful resources to use during class time and after class, language learning ebooks, and online practice activities.
