"Hi there! I'm an experienced middle school English Language Arts (ELA) and Reading teacher with over 5 years of experience. I've mainly focused on 7th and 8th grades, but I've taught other grades too.

I'm passionate about helping students, especially those who might find ELA challenging. My goal is to make sure every student can connect with the material, regardless of their current skill level. I believe that even if a student is behind, they deserve lessons that are interesting, age-appropriate, and meaningful.

I have a bachelor's degree in Education and English, a master's degree in Literacy, and certifications as a literacy teacher and coach. I've also worked with other teachers to help them better support their students.
