"I have over 20 years of successful experience as a tutor to students from upper elementary through high school and college. My education in engineering and computer science plus a professional career in engineering and leadership provide a solid background in most academic subjects plus standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, GED, etc). I have supported students with most learning styles and several learning differences (AD-HD and ASD included).

My approach is to meet the student where they are with patience and to determine what constitutes success for them. Establishing a sense of progress is vital to continued growth. One of my specialties is to identify and fill holes in math knowledge to allow success in whatever level of math the student is currently undertaking or to prepare for the next level through pre-calculus.
