"Hi! My name is Jim (or Coach Jim!). I’ve been an educator, mentor, and coach since I was in high school. I’ve always been drawn to helping professions, and I truly enjoy working one-on-one with clients—there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing their progress unfold in real time. Over the past 20+ years of working with children and adults with ADHD and other learning differences, I’ve developed a holistic, individualized approach that considers all aspects of a client’s life, including their interests, aptitudes, learning styles, and overall health and wellness. This perspective allows me to identify the most effective strategies to help each person reach their full potential by leveraging strengths while supporting areas of need.

I hold an MA in Developmental Psychology with a concentration in learning differences, and I am certified in Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment cognitive restructuring program, the Orton-Gillingham Approach, and Mindfulness Life Coaching. Having worked with hundreds of clients, I’ve learned that there is no one-size-fits-all method. Instead, coaching is a collaborative process in which we establish weekly goals based on current needs and adjust them as life evolves.
