I have a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and I have taught students at multiple grade levels, but my specialty and my passion is the LSAT and the GMAT. Having taken both tests myself and having struggled with both of their rigor and uniqueness, I know what it is like to have to conquer them with so much at stake. I believe that the first thing anyone studying for these tests needs to convince themselves of is that they can be learned!

I have taught the LSAT and GMAT for ten years and have worked with hundreds of students across the country helping them to achieve their test score goals. Over the course of my tutoring experience I have developed my own unique curricula and set of approaches to both exams that are different from the drinking from the fire hose approach of so many of the other experts. I believe that just because these tests are hard does not mean they need to be taught in rapid-fire fashion where much is said but little is communicated. I help my students to prepare by ensuring they have mastered authentic material and do not believe in moving forward until students show they are ready. I believe that tutoring is a relationship, so I work consciously to develop trust and I pay special attention to my students' emotional well-being as they prepare. I enjoy helping people to improve themselves personally and academically, and I am passionate about empowering people to reach their utmost potential.

I've scored in the 99th percentile on both exams and have, through my many years of studying and teaching both tests, devised my own methods for teaching them that is straightforward, practical, and highly effective. I also pay attention to the mental aspects of the exam and particularly enjoy working with students who have suffered from test anxiety in the past.
