"I have been teaching AP Language, AP Literature, and Public Speaking for 25 years, and I have been an AP Reader for 17 years, scoring AP Language, AP Literature, and AP Seminar Exam Essays. Throughout my career I have received several awards, including the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Teacher and the Superintendent’s Award of Excellence. I have also served as an Instructional Coach, AP English Professional Learning Team Lead, Professional Development Facilitator, Strategic Planning Facilitator, Curriculum Writer, Mentor Teacher, and Teacher Consultant. I have a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature.

I have a passion for empowering students to communicate powerfully as they craft compelling, memorable pieces that captivate audiences, and I work with students on building effective communication skills that build confidence and foster a sense of purpose. I primarily teach AP English Language, AP English Literature, and Public Speaking, but I also have extensive experience working with students on writing College Essays and Personal Statements.
