"Hello! My name is Sonu, and I am a plant scientist and molecular biologist with over 7 years of academic and research experience in biology, genetics, and agricultural sciences. I hold a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, where I specialized in molecular breeding, abiotic stress tolerance, and crop improvement.

I am currently working as a Research Consultant at New Mexico State University (NMSU), where I guide and tutor two Ph.D. students in plant physiology, plant biology, and plant genetics. During my Master’s and Ph.D. programs, I successfully taught and mentored seven Indian students, helping them clear prestigious national-level competitive exams, including the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, India(CSIR), Department of Biotechnology, India(DBT), and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, India (GATE).
