"I’m a professional writer, editor, and college application coach with a B.A. in English with Honors and a minor in Medieval History from the University of California, Berkeley. I’m also a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course at Oxford and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Columbia University. I bring over a decade of experience working with professional authors in the publishing industry, helping shape narratives that are clear, compelling, and authentic—skills I now apply to helping students craft standout essays and academic writing.

I specialize in college application support (Common App essays, UC PIQs, supplemental responses, and activity sections), as well as academic writing in English and history for middle school through college-level students. I’ve helped students gain admission to top undergraduate programs, as well as competitive graduate programs including medical school, law school, and physician assistant (PA) school. I also offer essay editing and writing mentorship for scholarships, honors applications, and personal statements.

My teaching experience includes one-on-one coaching, remote tutoring, and classroom work, supporting students from sixth grade through adulthood. I approach each session with clarity, compassion, and structure, helping even reluctant writers gain confidence and control.
