"I received my B.A. in English at Georgia College & State University, where I graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. For my senior capstone I taught a Creative Writing class to seventh graders through Georgia College's Early College program.

I currently work as a youth librarian and I am in charge of my branch's monthly elementary writing workshops. I have a decade of teaching experience (Sunday school teacher, VBS volunteer, American Heritage Girls troop leader,) and I have experience with all age groups in the K-12 range.

My writing has also been published in The Georgia Bulletin and Applause literary magazine."
