"I am an experienced, passionate college level teacher with over 35 years experience at a number one ranked liberal arts college, Williams College. Recently, I taught young adults and older adults at the Middlebury German Summer School. My degrees are an M.A. and Ph.D. from Brown University in Comparative Literature with a focus on German.

While all my teaching was in person, in a classroom setting before the pandemic, I also enjoy teaching over zoom. I taught zoom classes for Williams and for Lehigh University. My method follows the communicative approach, enabling you to improve quickly through practice. I use real life texts, videos.
