"Hello, my name is Mr. Joel T. Kenton. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Human Sciences with an endorsement in Social Sciences from The University of Nebraska- Lincoln in May, 2015.

I pride myself on my ability to develop close, professional relationships with students. This allows me to gain their trust and develop good rapport. From my experience in tutoring, I often find that once I have gained their trust I am able to help get them "invested" in their work and education. Lack of effort is not the case for all students. Some students may just need a helping hand and that is where I am more than willing to step in and use my knowledge and educating skills to help them accomplish their goals.

While in the classroom, I take a student-centered approach on teaching so students are in control of their education and I act as a guide to their success. I do the same when tutoring by having students answer their own questions opposed to "spoon feeding" them the answers.
