"I've been working as an educator, writer and private tutor for the past 15 years. Starting in college as an ESL tutor, I moved into academic tutoring after graduating with my degree in English. I tutor English & History through the undergraduate level and writing for all levels including graduate students and professionals. I have had dozens of articles published and written speeches for state politicians in New Jersey, Michigan and California. Finally, I became the Head of the Admissions Counseling Department for the company at which I worked.

My teaching philosophy is built on understanding the student with whom I am working. I firmly believe that a rich rapport, earned trust and a strong relationship are key to building a successful learning environment. I strive not only to support my students as they work through their material, but to build their confidence as they continue to move through their course or assignment creating the tools for them to succeed in the short term AND the long term.
