"I am a passionate current educator working in an alternative transfer high school setting. Graduated from City College with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education Math Degree. Spent 6 years teaching various math courses for grades 9-12 before starting my educational leadership journey. After becoming an instructional coach, I completed a Master’s in Educational Administration, which qualified me to hold my current role as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

I miss being in the classroom and spending time cultivating a love for learning in students! I’m excited about getting back to my roots by doing some 1:1 tutoring and inspiring adolescents to get connected with math and the career paths associated with the subject. I love incorporating learning manipulatives and technology into my instruction so that students develop conceptual understanding alongside procedural fluency.

My students describe me as understanding and encouraging. I teach them the why behind my high expectations and give them the support they need to reach them.
