My name is Charles, and I have been a private tutor for nearly eight years now in a variety of subjects. I graduated summa cum laude in undergrad from Gettysburg College, and completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania.

I tutor because I love teaching. Seeing my students grasp new topics is exciting and rewarding for the both of us. My philosophy on teaching is to teach students how to learn and conceptualize material, rather than memorize minute details. This allows the student to develop a repertoire of concepts that can be applied to information that they have never seen before.

I try to make learning enjoyable, and I promise that our tutoring sessions will not be a drag. I don't waste time during sessions because I am very busy, and so are you. Every time we meet, we will have goals, and we will be making progress. In order to learn and do well on a test or in school, I believe you have to enjoy what you're learning, and I promise that I'll do my best to make that happen.

I do not have a cancellation policy, as I understand that life can be chaotic sometimes for either of us. However, I do ask that you let me know as soon as possible.
