"I have been teaching students for 14 years, primarily in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, General and Organic Chemistry, Strength Training, and Music. It has been extremely gratifying to me when I have been able to help a struggling student understand the material, overcome their challenges to learning, and master the ability to become a true scholar. I approach teaching with a great deal of patience, the aptitude to simplify and clarify complex issues, and the willingness to adapt my presentation techniques to meet the learning styles of the student. I earned a M.A. in Mathematics, a M.S. in Applied Statistics, a B.S. in Chemistry-Biology with a minor in Music, and a B.A. in Mathematics with minors in Physics and German. I am a member in good standing in the national Mathematics (Pi Mu Epsilon), Physics (Sigma Pi Sigma) and Music ( Pi Kappa Lambda) Honor Societies.
