"I offer study and executive functioning (EF) skills tutoring through my Love to Learn skills program. Most curriculums are designed with one student in mind that doesn't meet every student's personal learning needs. When tweens, teens, and young adults don't know HOW to learn, they don't enjoy school or learning. When students discover HOW to learn through the 12 study skills I teach, they love to learn. This makes school SOOO much better for them (and their parents)! Learning never stops, but it can be tough to start without the right skills.

While study skills are the most important part of my work and make the most difference to teens long-term, I also offer private 1:1 academic (content) tutoring online for the ACT/SAT, proofreading/essay writing, and I tutor all core middle school subjects and many at the high school level.

The 12 study skills I teach are: note taking, annotating, creating the perfect study session, retaining info, organization, time management, goal setting, motivation, soft skills, confidence, self-advocacy, and grit and resilience. I also teach test taking strategies and how to overcome test anxiety.

My hourly rate is for study skills OR content/academic/class-specific tutoring.
