"I’m William. I have a Degree in English Language and Literature from the City University of New York, where I also completed minor programs in Journalism and in Mythology and Folklore. I have been a teacher for ten years, both in school classrooms and online. I have taught all grade levels from kindergarten and elementary school, to college and adult learners. Most of my classroom teaching experience has been in middle school and high school. I also hold a TEFL / ESL Certification, and I have extensive experience working with ESL students of all ages from children to adults.

I have extensive experience teaching classes in Vocabulary, Grammar, Phonics, Reading, Pronunciation, Reading Comprehension, American Literature, British Literature, Literary Analysis, Poetry (reading and writing), Creative Writing, Academic Writing, Essay Writing, Public Speaking, Study Skills, Listening Skills, Literacy, ESL, Adult ESL, and Test Preparation (SAT, KET, PET, FCE, GAC, ACT, ISEE, IGCSE, and IELTS). I also teach and tutor Art History, Mythology, Folklore, American History, European History, World History, Science, and Journalism.

I help students discover new knowledge, unlock their abilities, practice critical thinking, and explore their ideas.
