"Hi! I’m Sandy and I specialize in helping teens who hate test prep—especially those who are overwhelmed, anxious, or completely over it. If your student has ADHD, test anxiety, is convinced they don't "test well," or just thinks standardized tests are nonsense, they’re my kind of kid.

I bring over 30 years of experience as a certified classroom teacher, curriculum developer and designer, and test scorer and administrator for companies like Pearson and ETS. I’ve taught everything from SAT, ACT, and PSAT to AP and IB English, APUSH, AP Euro, HS entrance exams, as well as IELTS and TOEFL—and I know exactly how these tests work from the inside out.

My tutoring style is compassionate, structured, and (yes) a little nerdy. I’ve developed entire test prep programs, helped students gain hundreds of points, and created fandom-fueled lessons for students who need a different approach. Whether we’re reviewing comma rules through Hogwarts Houses or tackling algebra with Jedi logic, I make the hard stuff feel doable—and sometimes even fun.
