"Hi, I’m Torin! I’m a Brown University Honors grad with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Economics, and a Teach For America Fellow with over 8 years of experience helping students excel in Economics, Math, Physics, Test Prep, and STEM subjects.

At Brown, I served as Head Economic Student Lecturer, teaching large lectures and tutoring Micro and Macro Economics. After working as a data analyst for a proprietary energy trading firm in D.C., I returned to graduate school to study the sciences in depth. As a Teach For America Fellow, I became a full-time award-winning high school math teacher at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles, where I developed curriculum and helped students close gaps in rigorous, diverse classrooms.

Now a professional private tutor, I specialize in helping students master complex topics, raise test scores, and gain confidence in STEM and Economics subjects.
