"Hi, I’m Torin! I’m a Brown University Honors graduate with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Economics, and a Teach For America Fellow with over 9 years of experience helping students succeed in Economics, Math, Physics, Test Prep, and other STEM subjects.

At Brown, I served as Head Economic Student Lecturer, leading large lectures and tutoring students in Micro and Macro Economics. After working as a data analyst for a proprietary energy trading firm in Washington, D.C., I returned to graduate school to study the sciences in depth. As a Teach For America Fellow, I became a full-time, award-winning high school math teacher at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles, where I developed curriculum and helped students close learning gaps in rigorous and diverse classrooms.

Today, as a professional private tutor, I specialize in helping students master challenging topics, raise test scores, and build confidence in STEM and Economics subjects.
