"I am an Electrical Engineering Ph.D. with 10 years of experience in teaching, designing, simulating, building, and miniaturizing electronics, and optoelectronics systems, as well as planning and performing experiments to characterize, calibrate, and validate optical system performance. I graduated in December 2018 from the Department of Computer Engineering and Sciences at Florida Institute of Technology where I completed my Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering. During my Ph.D. course studies, I have taken various freshman and graduate engineering courses and have a strong background in electrical engineering, math, optics, and physics. I have gained a deep understanding of various fields in Electrical Engineering mainly Optoelectronics, Fiber Optic Sensors, Signal Processing, Optical Communications, and Photonics. As part of my graduate coursework, I received several opportunities to work closely with semiconductor technology, photonics, optical signal processing, and optical communication through various design, implementation, and research projects. I have great skills and use them to handle complete scientific projects from inception to success. My strengths are a strong academic background, a sense of teamwork, integrity, and the ability to put in sustained quality effort consistently.

In addition to my research, I have had the rewarding experience of teaching and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students and have participated in programs that aim to increase the participation of underrepresented minorities in the sciences.
