"Nikki is an artist and photographer located in Chicago. She has taught at Lesley University, Full Sail University and Chicago State University. She obtained an MFA in Photography in 2013. She has spent a decade working as a professional photographer, specializing in portraits lifestyle and advertising, and also remains active as an artist. She often shoots medium and large format film for her personal projects, and especially loves using alternative photographic processes and experimental techniques.

Because of these two very different backgrounds, she knows how to teach both fine art and practical photographic techniques. Her experience ranges from digital photography, large format film photography, black and white, lighting, working with color, LightRoom and Photoshop Workflows, book binding, salt printing, platinum printing, cyanotype, Kallitype, video work, teaching DIY photography to brands, portraiture, landscape and she is currently learning about photo embroidery.
