"Hi, I’m Will! I’m a former Finance Director with over twelve years of experience in FP&A, corporate accounting, and financial modeling. I’ve worked with consulting and life sciences companies managing multimillion-dollar budgets, forecasts, and dashboards used by executives and investors. My goal as a tutor is to take everything I’ve learned in those real-world settings and make finance and accounting feel understandable, practical, and, believe it or not, interesting.

I tutor accounting, finance, financial modeling, Excel, and QuickBooks. Many of my students are professionals or business owners who want to improve their financial literacy, as well as college students or job seekers preparing for FP&A or accounting roles. Whether we’re walking through financial statements, building a model from scratch, or fixing a QuickBooks file, I tailor every session to your goals and current comfort level.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and focused on clarity. I like to explain why things work the way they do, not just how. Students tell me they appreciate how I connect concepts to real-world business situations they can actually relate to. Most of my sessions are online for convenience, but I’m happy to meet locally upon request.
