"Hello! My name is Abbie and I recently graduated (March 2025) from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Concentration in Accounting. I have passed both the Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) CPA exam and the Auditing and Attestation (AUD) exam. I am currently in the process of sitting for my last 2 exams aiming to complete them all by October 1, 2025.

During my time in college, I tutored 5 students in Intermediate Accounting courses. While this started as a favor to friends of friends, I enjoyed and discovered my strength in tutoring these subjects. I also tutored Geometry and Algebra as one of my electives in High School. I am very confident in my ability to provide patient and effective tutoring in Financial Accounting subjects. Most of the students I tutored were in their 2nd or 3rd year of pursuing their undergraduate degrees in Business / Accounting. I previously tutored through word of mouth, as college is the perfect environment to need tutoring or become a tutor. The subjects I tutored in were classes I had previously taken with some of the same professors. However, the knowledge I obtained after passing the standard Financial Accounting and Reporting CPA exam should be applicable to all Financial Accounting classes.
