"During my undergraduate studies and before starting my career as an Actuary, I worked as a Math Tutor at Collin College for 6 years. I have tutored hundreds of students in various topics from Calculus to Chemistry to Physics; even helping pre-med students with their Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT).

One of the most memorable students came to me after receiving a 62 on his first Calculus exam. After spending the semester helping him, he received a 96 on his comprehensive Calculus final.

I understand how difficult it is to learn and stay focus on a subject that can be frustrating. I've experienced the glazed look during class when a teacher introduces a new topic. I have ADD and can completely relate.

I enjoy trying to find the mental hurdle that prevents a student from understanding something and love seeing them get past that hurdle.

Please note that I usually begin tutoring students when they start learning Algebra or around 7th or 8th grade.
