"I am a former High School Chemistry teacher. I have taught Chemistry at all levels including Pre-AP, AP and IB Chemistry. I graduated with a Chemistry BS at the University of Houston and a Master of Education in Science Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington.

During my undergraduate studies, I was an Instructor Assistant in various high school classrooms in Houston ISD and in a rigorous teacher prep program, teachHOUSTON. I am currently taking time off from the classroom to focus on creating curriculum, online modules, and simulations for Chemistry.

I am confident and comfortable with helping any student succeed from, "at risk" to GT (gifted and talented) students. I am currently GT certified by the State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC) with 30+ hours of training. I pride myself on giving student's personalized attention to meet their specific needs.

I was a Math tutor and Math Instructor Assistant for 3 years at various high schools in Houston Independent School District. I assisted mainly with "at-risk" students in the classroom as well as pulling out 1 to 5 students at a time to give them more attention in a separate classroom.
