"My name is Ericka and I graduated from Spelman College with a BS in Biology and the Univ. of Cincinnati with a masters in Health Promotion & Education. I have worked as a biology teacher for one year and an English tutor for about 15 years. I am a grant writing consultant with experience in research in the sciences & non profit management in the public health field. I have specifically worked with students who need help with English papers, reports, and even writing samples for college entrances. I have also worked with students to improve their vocabulary for the SAT and GRE. I have tutored high school biology students. These students typically need help understanding concepts in genetics, cell structure and function, and ecology. I have worked at several labs as a research assistant in stem cell research for cancer, genetics, cardiovascular disease, and neurobiology.
