"I tutored in the Monterey Bay Area (Monterey, PG, Carmel, Pebble Beach, etc.) and the SF Bay Area for many years. I started tutoring in the 1990s, and I have tutored several different versions of the SATs over the years (SAT I, SAT IC, SAT IIC, then the 3 subject SAT, and now the DSAT). I took the official SAT test in early 2009 (the SAT had 3 sections at that time) (I was already a college graduate, and yes, many tutors in Silicon Valley take the official SAT as adults to become more familiar with any subtle changes and to get recent scores), and scored a 2390 out of 2400 (790 M, 800 CR, 800 WR) in the normal time limits (no accommodations). I have also tutored the ACT for thousands of hours, enough to get burned out on it for a long time. I know a lot of ways to get an advantage on these tests, if you need one.
