"I began my teaching career in Salisbury, North Carolina, where I taught elementary Special Education from 2012 to 2015. My work focused on supporting students with diverse learning needs in reading, writing, and foundational math through small-group and one-on-one instruction.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and rooted in helping students understand how they learn so they can build confidence alongside academic skills.

I also currently homeschool my nephew, guiding him through middle school English Language Arts, writing, math foundations, and research-based learning. This experience has strengthened my ability to design personalized lessons, assess progress daily, and provide steady encouragement for students who benefit from clear expectations and supportive accountability.
