"I graduated cum laude from the University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Management and hold an additional Bachelor’s degree in Humanities. I also completed the Basic Accountancy Course from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Being a lifelong learner and educator, I have been on both sides of the class room desk, giving me an opportunity to better understand students needs and adjust my teaching style accordingly.

While accounting is my profession, teaching has always been my passion, which has led me to this platform. My experience includes working with Fort Bend ISD’s Special Education Department, where I supported 5th graders in achieving a 100% pass rate on their reading, writing, and math STAAR exams. I have also helped elementary school students with behavioral challenges demonstrate significant growth in math and language skills.

My tutoring style is based on demonstrating patience, understanding each student’s specific needs, and giving focused support. I firmly believe that the first step towards nurturing a young mind is know your student’s strengths and where they need help, then creating a plan that supports their learning style. For math, I often use fun games and visual tools to explain concepts. For reading and writing, I use guided reading, phonics, and activities that help in building vocabulary and writing skills. I adjust my teaching methods based on whether a student is a visual or auditory learner. Working in inclusive classrooms and with students on IEPs has equipped me with the experience and tools to support different learning styles and needs. As a mother of four who has survived all homework battles from Kinder through high school, I can confidently say that I bring both flexibility and patience to every tutoring session!
