Welcome! I am fully bilingual, having grown up with both English and French. I am American with a B.A. in French from San Francisco State University. I taught French to undergraduates at Florida Atlantic University while pursuing my Masters degree there in French Literature. I also taught French at a private high school in South Florida. I created and administered the mid-term exams, and was responsible for choosing textbooks for my classes. I have also worked as a private French and English tutor since 1980. I have tutored also at Sacramento City College and at San Francisco State University.

I work with beginners to advanced, and can address all areas of language acquisition (reading, writing, oral comprehension, and speaking).

I most recently returned from China where I taught English to students and staff at Shenyang Agricultural University. My supervisor there is an excellent reference, and remains a very good friend of mine.

I am currently teaching English and French privately in person and via Skype. I am very approachable and would love to hear from you. Look forward.
