"I recently graduated magna cum laude with a degree in French and English and a minor in Education. My junior year, I spent a semester studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. In Aix, I took courses entirely in French, lived with a local host family, and achieved a C2 level on the TCF exam. My senior year, I was awarded a departmental prize for scholarship in French.

During college, I worked as a teaching assistant in the French department, supporting professor and students in an advanced French literature course. I helped students understand difficult course texts, offered feedback recommendations for essays, and coached students on oral presentation skills. Additionally, for three years, I volunteered weekly in a multilingual classroom at a local high school, providing academic support and translation help to students who spoke French as a first language and were learning English. As part of a course called Teaching and Learning Languages and Cultures, I taught weekly French lessons at a local elementary school. I have worked with both elementary- and high school-aged students in tutoring roles, and I have experience working with students with language- and attention-based learning disabilities.
