"I am a former full-time French teacher and interpreter in US Immigration court, looking to share my love of French language, culture and literature. I have taught at all levels, from beginning language to advanced literature and culture, and have been mistaken for a native speaker in the very recent past.

I love to help students learn and master whatever it is that interests them most, and am known for pushing students beyond their comfort level in order to get them to the next level of proficiency. I have a wealth of books and materials to share with students to help them to master all aspects of French, including reading, writing, listening and speaking.

I have two master's degrees in French language and literature, and also have the ability to interpret at a very high level in every day conversational skills. Having been a teacher for 15 years, I also have an excellent educational skill level and know how to teach at every level and every complexity.
