"Hello, my name is Lucie, and I am a native French speaker living in the USA for the past 11 years. Before that, I lived for 15 years in Quebec, Canada. I hold a Maîtrise in Biochemistry from Université Paris Denis Diderot, France, a Diplôme Universitaire (DU) in Preparation of Science Professionals for Business and Creativity from Université Aix-Marseille 2 (a Master-level course), and a Microprogramme de deuxième cycle en enseignement supérieur from Université de Montréal, Canada. These programs provided formal training in scientific knowledge, problem-solving, communication, and pedagogy, including a supervised teaching internship in biology, where I assisted a teacher for a full semester and independently designed and delivered lessons to different groups (Community college level).

I have experience teaching French in multiple contexts. I worked for two years as a substitute teacher in middle school in Quebec, covering all subjects including French, and served as a Professional Training Officer, delivering structured lessons on regulations for chemical and biological products, including transport, storage, and handling.

My approach is student-centered and interactive, combining fundamentals with practical case studies, and integrating digital tools, games, storytelling, and conversational exercises to engage learners and reinforce language skills.
