"Hello! My name is Nick, a stats tutor originally hailing from North Dakota. I currently live in North Carolina, and I'm genuinely missing the frosty winters. I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Minot State University in 2014 and my Master's Degree in Statistics in 2017 from North Dakota State University. I have extensive tutoring experience, serving as a teaching assistant and tutor for the NDSU statistics department for four semesters. I was also a math tutor for Sylvan Learning Center for nine months and have worked as a private tutor for over eight years. My specialty is AP, college, and business statistics. I have also tutored algebra, geometry, and precalculus.

Some of my interests outside of tutoring include taking walks, video games, reading, philosophy, and Dance Dance Revolution.

I have a friendly and patient teaching style and am always willing to break things down as much as possible. I believe that statistics conceptually is easy to understand and focus more on the big picture and basic principles as opposed to bogging you down with formulas (though we'll still have to work with those, of course!)
