"I have a strong educational foundation in oral health, holding a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene with a concentration in public health. My graduate training emphasized evidence-based practice, community health, and effective communication—skills that translate naturally into helping students understand dental concepts in a clear and approachable way. Throughout my career as a licensed dental hygienist, I’ve had extensive hands-on experience with patient education, which has allowed me to break down complex topics such as anatomy, pathology, prevention, and oral-systemic connections into simple, understandable terms.

My teaching experience has included guiding patients of all ages, supporting new dental hygiene graduates during clinical training, and helping students strengthen their understanding of health-science coursework. Whether I’m teaching one-on-one or supporting small groups, I focus on meeting learners where they are and building their confidence step by step. I use real-world examples, visual explanations, and supportive conversation to help students truly grasp the “why” behind what they are learning.
