I graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College, where I received Department Honors in Comparative Literature (Spanish and English). I studied abroad for one year at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain. For my first job, I taught Spanish at an IB For All school in Massachusetts for three years before deciding to return to school for my graduate degree. At University of California, Berkeley, I earned my MA and PhD in Spanish Literature. Throughout my time there, I was a Graduate Student Instructor as well as a private tutor. I am currently a classroom Spanish teacher at an IB For All school.

I specialize in tutoring all levels of Spanish, including IB. I also enjoy helping you with conversational Spanish skills, providing homework help, proofreading your writing, or offering listening and reading practice that incorporates cultural awareness and understanding in Spanish-speaking countries.
