"I am a native speaker of both English and Spanish. I was born in San Francisco, California. Shortly after, I moved to Mexico City, where I learned Spanish. Hence, my first language is Spanish. My first school I attended was a German school, in Mexico City. I returned back to San Francisco, for the remainder of my elementary schooling. l attended the world-renowned Lowell High School, in San Francisco. Later, I enrolled in San Francisco State University, for a short time, after high school. I graduated from Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Arts, in Spanish, with a minor in History. I attended and graduated from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, in Glendale, Arizona, shortly after having graduated from Arizona State University. I received an International MBA, from Thunderbird, with an emphasis in Finance, Marketing, and Political Science.

I have four daughters, all of whom went to private schools. Two of my daughters were homeschooled by me for a few years. I was very active in supporting them in all areas of academics, and I understand the challenges of students at all levels, including those of my own, at a Master's level.

Many of my friends are not native speakers of English. Through them, I learned to understand the challenges of those coming to the United States. Some of those challenges were learning languages as a second language, for themselves and for their family members, passing exams such as the TOEFL, integrating into the American, society, and seeking employment.
