I come to Wyzant with a diverse amount of teaching experience. For the past 8 years I have taught science in both middle and high school settings. During this time I have taught Chemistry, AP Biology, Earth Science, Anatomy & Kinesiology, and AP Environmental Science. In addition to teaching, I also have experience tutoring individual students so they can best reach their academic goals, whether that’s getting a 5 on the AP exam, improving your study habits, or just bumping your grade up to that next letter in the alphabet.

In 2019 I earned my master of teaching (MT) from the University of Virginia Curry School of Education. There I gained my teaching license and scored in the top 10% national on the biology PRAXIS exam. Since then I have taught at Christ School, a private boarding school in Asheville, NC.
