As an undergraduate, I studied Spanish at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Monterrey, Mexico. I later lived in Chile where I volunteered as an English teacher for several months. I received my bachelor’ degree in English with a minor in Spanish, and a master’s degree in Spanish.
