"Hi, I’m Rebecca! I earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Old Dominion University and have over a decade of experience helping students from elementary through college succeed in chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. I have taught and supported undergraduate labs at Old Dominion University, served as an adjunct lab instructor at Norfolk State University, and graded large biochemistry courses, so I understand exactly where students get stuck and how to get them unstuck.

I love explaining complex topics in simple, clear steps. Watching a tough concept finally click brings me real joy. I will figure out how you learn best, break problems down step by step, and make sure you leave each session understanding the why, not just the what, so your confidence grows every week.

A bit about my teaching and communication background. I earned Best Oral Presentation at the 2025 NanoBioTech Conference and was runner up and People’s Choice in ODU’s Three Minute Thesis. I also serve as a science fair judge and mentor, which keeps me focused on clear communication and real world problem solving.
