"My name is Tom. I am self-employed by being a full-time tutor. I graduated from Baruch College in 1993. My major was Actuarial Science which deals with Mathematics and Statistics.

I scored an A in both LCE (Lower Certificate Examination) and MCE (Middle Certificate Examination) in Malaysia. When I was pursuing Bachelor of Arts degree at Baruch College, CUNY, I continued to work intensely on Mathematics by tutoring math at the math labs of Baruch College and BMCC (Borough of Manhattan Community College)

When I graduated, I worked as a Math and Statistics Lecturer at Informatic College. At the college, I covered Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry.

Upon coming back to New York, I still never changed my passion for teaching. I started my teaching career at BBS Academy in Bayside for years. At the academy, I taught Regent Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, SAT & ACT math. As I successfully built up my student base, I then turned to be a freelancer on my own by traveling the areas within Queens and Long Island teaching the above-mentioned courses.
